Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026 1. Agreement By accessing or using Reboound ("we", "us", "our") and the website, applications, and services we offer (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. 2. The Service Reboound is a social network for builders—developers, designers, makers, and similar creators—to share progress, exchange feedback, and stay in flow. The Service includes public and signed-in experiences such as feeds, posts, comments, reactions, groups, topics, search, profiles, notifications, and related features we may add or change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable. 3. Eligibility and accounts You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or older if a higher age is required where you live). You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access (see our Imprint page for contact options). We may require email verification or other checks for security or abuse prevention. 4. Acceptable use You agree not to: - Violate applicable law or infringe others' rights (including intellectual property and privacy). - Post or solicit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually exploitative of minors, or that doxxes or incites violence. - Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation. - Spam the Service, manipulate metrics, or use automated means to access or scrape the Service without our written permission. - Probe, disrupt, or circumvent security or technical measures, or access data you are not authorized to access. - Upload malware or attempt to harm our or others' systems. 5. Content you provide You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content to the Service, you grant Reboound a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to format or display), distribute, and publicly perform/display that content solely to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant the above license. You may not post content you do not have the right to share. We do not pre-screen all user content. We may remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law. 6. Copyright and other complaints If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us using the details on our Imprint page with enough information for us to locate the material and assess your report. We may remove or disable access to material in appropriate cases. We are not obligated to act as a court or arbitrator between users. 7. Third-party sign-in If you use Google, GitHub, or other third-party sign-in, their terms and privacy policies also apply. We receive information those providers share with us to create and maintain your account. 8. Moderation and enforcement We provide tools for users to report concerns and may use automated and human review. We may warn, suspend, ban, or remove content or accounts, with or without prior notice, when we deem it necessary for safety, legal compliance, or the integrity of the Service. 9. Your account and data You may export certain account data and delete your account from Settings where available. Deletion options may retain or remove your posts and comments depending on the mode you choose; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data. 10. Disclaimers The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for user-generated content or for third-party services linked from the Service. 11. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reboound and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law. 12. Indemnity You will defend and indemnify Reboound against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law. 13. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed by legal counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in [venue to be confirmed] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. 14. Changes We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when reasonable (for example, by email or an in-Service message). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. 15. Contact For questions about these Terms, use the contact information on our Imprint page.
